As the major part of the LORE, the LSIC has dedicated more than decades to the theories of the luthiery and archèterie, with continual field study on the acoustics of the string instruments and bows.  With the privilege to access the most precious feedback from professional performing artists and enthusiastic connoisseurs, the LSIC also has long-standing relations with numbers of today's most outstanding violin and bow makers!

The LSIC is extremely selective to the instruments--questing for exceptional refine craftsmanship and exquisite tonal quality, while aiming at introducing the valuable and celebrated instruments and bows to musicians and collectors.
