Jeremy Zhu has made many of his pre-college students succeed as concertmasters, at the top seatings with the highest scores in the orchestras and the chamber ensembles of All-Eastern Honors, NY All-State Winter Conference Honors, NY All-State, NY All-County, Eastman Youth Violin Ensembles and Chamber Music Program, Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong (MYO), Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra and Hochstein Philharmonic Orchestra, up to the universities, such as Yale, Columbia, Harvard, and many others. They have earned significant credits through all the music activities, and admitted by the Ivy League and top universities including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Princeton, Dartmouth, Brown, University of Pennsylvania, John Hopkins, Georgetown, Cal Tech, Cleveland Institute of Music, Eastman, etc. for their further studies in various fields.
Professional Field
Jeremy Zhu's students have performed internationally as soloists and chamber musicians, and have joined as orchestra musicians in New York Philharmonic, Rochester Philharmonic, etc., and become the curator of orchestra programming for patrons, the chapter president of American String Teachers Association (ASTA), college faculty members, and so on. Likewise, Jeremy Zhu's students have been NASA scientist, physician, attorney, prosecutor, governmental officer, etc., succeed in various fields.
